Zak Krislock

Zak was born and raised in Redondo Beach, then moved to Torrance at 14 where he attended South High School. At South, Zak lettered in Football and Baseball and was named 1st team All-Bay League in both sports. He continued to UC Irvine to play baseball his freshman year, then transferred to The Univeristy of Oklahoma. In 1992, Zak was named 1st team All-Big 8 Conference. The Sooners also participated in The College World Series that year. He was the selected in the 23rd round of the 1992 Amateur Draft by the Houston Astros. Zak played 3 seasons in the Astros organization and one with the Chicago Cubs.

Zak has been coaching for the past 8 years. He is currently the Head Baseball Coach at Chadwick School in Palos Verdes. This is his fourth season at the helm of the Dolphins. The previous 4 seasons, Zak served as the Pitching Coach at South High. Zak also coaches High School Football. He has been at South High, Mira Costa, and Chadwick as a varsity assistant. At Mira Costa, the Mustangs reached the CIF Finals in 2008 and returned in 2009 to win the CIF title. Zak lives in Redondo Beach and is available for pitching lessons. (310) 714-1334.
