GBG SD

Welcome to GBG San Diego!

We were established in 2018 with the goal of bringing the Garciaparra Baseball Group philosophy of LEARN FIRST. DOMINATE LATER! to San Diego.  Our primary goal is to help our players get ready for the next level.  Whether that next level is little league, high school and even college we are here for development.

We put a strong emphasis on our collegiate style practices.  We feel with our coach’s extensive baseball knowledge is how our players get better.  We do strive to win games, but it is not at a “all cost mentality.”  The tournaments and games that we do play is for our players to apply what they have learned and to learn how to COMPETE!

Our players will always come first and families who join us know the type of CULTURE we are trying to create with each team.

We want our players to be the best they can be!

GBG San Diego Youth (Ages 8U-14U)

https://usssa.com/baseball/ageCalculator

We practice twice a week for 1:30-2:00 hours per practice (total of 8 practice a month).  Rain outs and Federal Holidays will try to be made up but not guaranteed.  We will also have off for Thanksgiving week and Christmas and New Year’s.  Monthly dues will cover these practices.

Youth teams will play 2 tournaments a month or 3 tournaments in a two-month span.  Majority of the tournaments are local, but tournaments can be in Temecula, Orange County, Los Angeles County and Riverside County.  Out of state tournaments are also possible but will be decided by each individual team.  In lieu of tournaments some teams may participate in Friday Night League or Sunday League.  This will be determined by the coach.  All tournament fees are extra cost and prices are determined by the number of participants.

There is also a registration fee that is due September 1st of each year.  The registration fee covers administration fee, website, insurance, equipment, field rentals, umpire fee for scrimmages and other expenses.  Refunds will only be given within the first month of the new season (September 1-30) or one month from the date of registration after September.  No refunds will be given after the first month of participation.

Uniforms purchase will be mandatory.  You will be required to purchase practice shirts, and hats and three jerseys.  Jerseys can take up to 6 weeks to get.  It is imperative to order uniforms when told.  Both grey and white pants (no piping) will be required.  Pants can be purchased from anywhere.  WHITE baseball helmets are also a requirement.

All fees will be automatically withdrawn, and a receipt will be sent via email of each charged transaction.  All transactions are subject to credit card fee by Team Sports Admin.

Sibling Discount

If you have a sibling in any level of GBG you get a 2 for 1 price. You will only play for one monthly due while both are active in GBG. Registration and tournament payments is still required for each individual sibling.
